This note explains the cookies and tracking used on mahola.us and how to control them. Our full privacy policy covers everything else: what we collect when you order, write to us or sign up, and your rights.
Three groups of cookies
You choose when you first visit, and you can change your choice at any time from Cookie Settings in the footer of every page.
- Strictly necessary: your cart and checkout (Shopify), your cookie choice, and security. Always on.
- Analytics: which pages people read and where they get stuck, so we can fix it. Shopify analytics, plus Google Analytics when we enable it.
- Advertising: Google Ads conversion cookies and the Meta pixel, so we can tell whether our ads work and avoid showing you the same ad again.
Where you are matters
Where the law requires prior consent (the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), analytics and advertising cookies stay off until you turn them on. Elsewhere they are on by default and you can turn them off at any time; your choice is remembered in this browser.
Residents of California and other U.S. states with privacy laws can also use Your Privacy Choices.
Who receives tracking data
- Shopify: store analytics.
- Google: the Google Ads tag measures whether an ad led to a purchase. Until you accept advertising cookies it runs in a cookieless mode. Google Analytics is not currently active; if we enable it, it stays off until you accept analytics cookies.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram): the Meta pixel loads only after you accept advertising cookies.
Rejecting everything
Rejecting all optional cookies keeps the site fully working. You can also block or clear cookies in your browser.
